The Developmental Model of Couples Counseling
The Developmental Model of Couples Counseling recognizes that when you are more secure, self-aware, and emotionally grounded as an individual, you are better able to create healthy, fulfilling relationships. This approach focuses on personal growth that naturally strengthens the relationship as a whole.
Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) and Emotion Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT)
Emotion Focused Therapy helps individuals and couples better understand, express, and respond to emotions in ways that foster connection rather than conflict. By strengthening emotional awareness and creating secure attachment, this evidence-based approach helps build trust, deepen intimacy, and improve relationship satisfaction. Schema Therapy

Based on more than 40 years of research, the Gottman Method helps couples strengthen friendship, improve communication, manage conflict more effectively, and deepen emotional connection. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy helps individuals and couples recognize unhelpful patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving that contribute to emotional distress and relationship challenges. Clients learn practical strategies to improve communication, regulate emotions, challenge negative thinking patterns, and develop healthier ways of responding to difficult situations. Therapy sessions provide opportunities to practice these skills in a supportive environment while building greater understanding, acceptance, and resilience.
We offer online counselling via Jane App Virtual Office. This method allows us to support clients who work from home, accommodate those in different time zones, and provide flexible options for clients with tight schedules.
These sessions are identical to traditional in-person counselling sessions but are conducted entirely via a secure video call.
